I'm raising money to buy necessities for children in Vietnamese orphanages. I'll visit Nam Dinh and Hanoi in October or November and will make most purchases myself and deliver them directly to each orphanage.

The current Nam Dinh orphanage
This is where my son came from. This orphanage is only for babies. It is very small and very poor, but the caregivers seem to do a good job with what they have.

Hi Lynne, I came across your blog doing research for an upcomign trip I am planning for Vietnam. My friends and I are trying to find an orphanage we can visit, volunteer at and bring donations to. Do you know how I can contact Nam Dinh and organize such a thing? Thanks for the inspiration
My son and I live in beautiful Seattle, Washington. We traveled to Vietnam in Oct-Nov 2008 to complete our adoption. Life has been fantastic and busy ever since.
